For this month’s 60 seconds, we are heading down under to Sydney Australia to have a chat with Pip, our Senior Customer Success Manager who helps look after all our wonderful clients.
CAN YOU ROUND UP IN A FEW SENTENCES WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU DO AT WAYIN?
I am the Senior Customer Success Manager in Australia. My role is to work closely with our APAC clients to ensure they are getting the most out of the platform. I do this by understanding their business thoroughly and where Wayin fits in. I also take clients to coffee and lunch (it’s a tough job).
I also feel part of my remit is to drive my Australian colleagues nuts with my silly Dad jokes and goofing around.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FEATURE OF THE WAYIN PLATFORM?
The drag and drop functionality when building a campaign. It’s so simple but that’s what I love.
IS THERE ONE PIECE OF WORK THAT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?
Well writing this article is pretty high on the list. But in all seriousness, some of the smaller campaigns I have worked on where I’ve thrown out an idea to a client and they have run with it and seen great success.
YOUR FAVORITE ITEM ON YOUR DESK WITH A PICTURE FOR REFERENCE:
My little USB fan. As we come into the Australian summer it’s already proving to be a lifesaver. Thanks to my colleague Krishan for pushing me to get one so I’d stop stealing his.
WHEN GOING TO A ‘WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I WANTED TO BE’ PARTY, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR OUTFIT OF CHOICE
There are so many to name. I wanted to be everything – A doctor, a nurse, a policeman….the list goes on. But they all seem to have a theme, I wanted to help people and still do.
LIST THREE OF YOUR MUST-HAVE APPS:
- Google maps – I get lost easily
- Instagram – because it’s a great time waster
- TuneIn Radio – because I love listening to podcasts. I’ve just finished “The Teachers Pet”. It’s a must listen to if you love crime podcasts
AS WELL AS YOUR TOP THREE SOCIAL ACCOUNTS TO FOLLOW:
@henrycavill (hello eye candy!!)
@kirbyjenner (for a laugh)
Chocolate but my personal trainer won’t let me have it. So I’d have to say coconut yoghurt from Harris Farm. It’s amazing!
MORE IMPORTANTLY, FAVOURITE DRINK?
A cup of tea! I am utterly obsessed with a good cup of tea.
WHAT COULD YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT?
My husband Matt. We’ve been together 10 years and I still get butterflies in my tummy when I think of him or see him (cue collective “aw”).
Look again at that dot. That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every “superstar,” every “supreme leader,” every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there–on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
