With help from Wayin, BestDay.com encouraged comic fans to sign up for their Marvel-inspired paintball tournament, to coincide with the release of Captain America: Civil War.
Participants can utilize the social sign-in through Facebook or Twitter, to speed up their entry, enabling BestDay.com to obtain valuable audience information upon entry. Within the sign-in form, contestants need to choose whether they are team ‘Captain America’ or ‘Iron Man,’ as well as choose a unique team name and nominate captain. On entry, contestants must register four persons per team, ensuring they are all aged over 18 years old.
On application, comic lovers have to answer a timed Marvel trivia. Teams with the most correct answers from 10 questions, and the fastest timer will then be chosen to compete in a paintball tournament, representing Iron Man or Captain America. On completion, fans have the ability to spread awareness of the campaign page through Facebook or Twitter, utilizing the hashtag #CivilWar.
Furthermore, BestDay.com is curating and publishing their fans best user-generated content both from Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, whenever #CivilWar is mentioned. A live feed of the tournament will be displayed within the social hub, to continuously engage with fans. The hub has been created within the Advocacy feature of the EngageSciences platform.
When the paintball tournament takes place in May, BestDay.com will live stream it via Google Hangouts, giving fans the opportunity to support their teams online as they battle it out.
