To capture the conversation, book collection photos and recommendations from customers, Book Outlet has used Wayin to create the ultimate ‘go-to’ social space on its website.
To capture audience insights surrounding book usage, Book Outlet has embedded a weekly live poll activation to the campaign page, where this week, visitors are being asked about their book collections. What’s more, to create the ultimate engaging social space, Book Outlet has published a selection of recent social posts from the readers of Instagram, filtering and publishing posts using the hashtags #BookOutletHaul and #BookOutletBear. This, paired with updates embedded directly from Book Outlet’s Twitter page, creates the perfect blend of authentic UGC and branded content.
As a way of driving interaction amongst visitors, and to increase user dwell time, Book Outlet has also featured a number of quiz experiences for participants can get involved with. And, with a countdown timer for each question and a limited number of time to answer, they have to be quick! On completion of the quiz, visitors are either shown the most popular book choices based on other participant’s quiz responses, or are provided with a recommended list of books which they can directly go on to purchase, in turn driving book sales.
