Travelex Kick-Starts A Healthy 2017 With Inspirational Multi-Channel UGC Sweepstakes

For the second month of its year long multi-network photo contest campaign, Travelex is kicking off 2017 by encouraging its followers to create inspiring UGC to keep consumers motivated and on track with their new year fitness resolutions.

PHOTO CONTEST SOLUTION

Whilst many of us start the year with a ‘new year, new me’ attitude, with the best intentions to eat healthy and exercise regularly, the motivation we once had often runs out mid-January. So, to keep us on track, Travelex is asking its followers to get creative and show off how they maintained their fitness whilst on holiday through its multi-network photo contest, published to its website. Whether it be braving the cold weather on an adventurous bike ride, or heading to a relaxing yoga retreat to rejuvenate before going back to work, Travelex wants to hear them all!

To get involved, and for the chance to win a FitBit worth £90, followers are asked to share their best fitness photo through one of three routes to entry; Twitter, Instagram, or directly through the form provided. To enter through Instagram, participants are simply required to upload their image using the hashtag #TravelexFit, whilst submissions through Twitter must also include the hashtag and @TravelexUK. What’s more, to enable Travelex to capture valuable audience data that can be reused in future marketing promotions, form submissions require participants to enter their personal details, where they can also ‘opt-in’ to receive future marketing communications.

Post-submission, all entries received through any of the three options can be filtered, curated and published to the embedded ‘Fitspo’ social wall for website visitors to browse, be inspired by, and share with their friends. Not only will website visitors have access to view #TravelexFit entries, but Travelex has also used a tagging functionality within each campaign to allow participants to filter and browse through an album of entries from previous competitions.
